RIBA
After winning its first ever concession contract with RIBA in 2005, Ampersand created a bespoke dining and hospitality service that does justice to this venue. We manage its 24 rooms, all of which have been recently refurbished and include modern integrated facilities. Period interiors add romance to weddings and a stately air to meetings.
Our catering service covers the RIBA Restaurant, RIBA Café and RIBA Café Bar, which are all open to the public. The restaurant is a unique eating space with floor-to-ceiling windows and, in the summer, the adjoining terrace is the perfect spot for al-fresco dining.
Under Michelin-starred food director David Cavalier’s guidance, the seasonal menus are fresh and bursting with flavour. Among their many offerings are a succulent Gressingham duck dish and a rosemary goat’s cheese ravioli. Our onsite catering team use these menus as a basis on which to develop bespoke event packages.
Venue secret
By day, the Florence Hall – the largest and most exquisitely decorated room – is home to the RIBA Restaurant. However, at the weekends and on week evenings (except Tuesdays), the hall and its terrace can be transformed into a fabulous setting for your event. Fully integrated audio-visual technologies allow us to create lighting and staging to suit the occasion, whether it’s a reception, dinner or award ceremony.
